How we handle the information you share
What we receive when you ask for towing, what this website does with it, and what you can choose.
The details
- Who we are
- RS Towing Service, a bike and car towing and breakdown service at 5, RBI Layout Main Rd, RBI Layout, JP Nagar 7th Phase, J. P. Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, 560078. We decide how the information described here is used. You can reach us on +91 97412 07790 or at rstowingservice.blr@gmail.com.
- What we receive when you call or message us
- Your phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us: where you are, the make and model of your bike, what has gone wrong and where you want it taken. If you send a WhatsApp location pin or photos, we receive those too.
- What the call-back form collects
- The form on this website asks for your name and mobile number, and an area or landmark. You can also choose to share your phone's location. You type this on your own device. The website does not save it and does not send it to any server of ours. The form puts it into a WhatsApp message addressed to our number. We receive it only if you tap Send in WhatsApp.
- Your location
- We ask for your location only when you tap the share-location button, and your phone or browser asks your permission first. You can refuse and type your area instead. A phone's GPS is usually accurate to a few metres, but a laptop or desktop often reports only an approximate position, sometimes wrong by a kilometre or more. The message we receive says when a position is approximate. If you do share it, your coordinates are sent once to OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) to find the name of the area, and that name is added to your WhatsApp message.
- What this website stores on your device
- We do not use cookies to track you. To avoid showing the call-back form again and again, the website stores three small items on your device: whether you have seen the form, whether you have sent it, and how many times it appeared in this visit. They contain no name, number or location. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
- Services that handle information for us
- WhatsApp, which delivers your messages and has its own privacy policy. Your phone network, for calls. OpenStreetMap, only when you share your location, as described above. Google Maps, only if you tap “Load interactive map” or “Open in Google Maps”. Our website hosting provider, which, like any host, may keep standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not currently use analytics or advertising tools.
- Why we use it
- To arrange and complete the tow or breakdown help you asked for, to confirm the plan with you, and to answer questions about the job afterwards. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
- How long we keep it
- We keep job details for as long as we need them to do the job, to answer questions afterwards, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. The website itself does not keep anything you type into the form.
- Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond. You can also change location permission for this website in your browser settings at any time. Our Terms and Conditions explain the rest of how our service works.
- Changes to this policy
- If we change how the website or our service handles information, we will update this page. Last updated: 13 October 2026.
