A low car can scrape its bumper or underbody when it is pulled along with one end lifted. An AWD or 4x4 car has every wheel connected to the drivetrain, so no wheel should roll on the road. And an accident-damaged car may have a bent wheel or a steering that does not work. On a flatbed, all of them are carried fully off the road.

Good to know
